A pair of mid 19th century French Napoleon III period, Regence style 'Fauteuils à la Reine' walnut armchairs of good quality and of Classical proportions, the backrests, rails and legs decorated with bas and haut relief carved foliate motifs. These armchairs are designed with sweeping arms and with comfortable, broad and deep seats. Please note the high quality of the carved decorations. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
