A fine pair of French Louis XVI style, carved and painted 'Fauteuils à la Reine' armchairs with upholstered seats, the backrests, armrests and legs retaining the original painted finish. Please note the elegance of the proportions of the Montgolfier backrests and the wonderful patina of the painted finish. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In excellent and original, as found condition. The fabric covering is in usable condition.
