A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III period, Directoire style, carved, turned and painted Fauteuil armchairs of understated and Classical proportions. Note the wonderful luminosity of the painted finish. Upholstered with separate seat cushions, for added comfort. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
