A large French Louis XV style "Bergères à Oreilles", a carved and painted wingback library armchair retaining an old velvet upholstery, still in good condition. Of excellent and large proportions, and very comfortable to sit on. Please note the graceful lines and the depth and broadness of the seat, and the fine quality of the hand-carved mouldings. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
