A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III period, Directoire style, carved and turned, off-white painted and parcel gilt Fauteuil armchairs of understated and Classical proportions. Of very fine workmanship, the original painted and gilded finish is nicely worn. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
