A pair of fine, late 19th century French Louis XVI style carved walnut Fauteuil armchairs, retaining an old silk upholstery. Note the elegance of the medallion-back with a knotted ribbon crest, and the excellent patination of the timbers. Area of Paris, circa 1900.
