A large and comfortable 19th century French provincial ashwood and oak ladderback armchair, the ample seat with woven rush. Typical provincial-Directoire design from the area of Normandy, circa 1850.

Condition report: In very good and fully restored condition. The seat has just been re-rushed with real hand-woven rush (not paper rush).

Dimensions: Width 60 cm, depth 60 cm, height of back 118 cm.
