Two pairs of Louis XVI Armchairs

Two pairs of 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, carved and Trianon-grey painted and upholstered Fauteuil Cabriolet armchairs of very good proportions, the seats, the backs and arm-rests retaining their original tapestries, made specifically for these armchairs, all in good condition. Elegantly carved and very comfortable to sit on. Retaining the original horse hair upholstery. Each of the undersides of the seats stamped with the maker's mark, "Maison Krieger". Paris, circa 1850.
