A French Louis XVI Over-Door

A large French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style carved and painted over-door panel, fitted with a central 'Oeil de Boeuf' window, surmounted by haut-relief carved laurel wreaths and out-sized knotted bows. This type of window is usually fitted with mirrors. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
