A vintage Italian blown glass vase, the Classical Roman shape and the rendering of a 'bubbly' glass are reminiscent of glass vases found in archeological diggings (hence the name, from "scavo archeologico"). Please note" this "Scavo Murano Glass" vase is attributed to Archimede Seguso (1909-1999) and the Venetian "Seguso Vetri d'Arte" glassworks. Area of Murano, Venice, circa 1970.
