An elegant, mid 19th century French Napoleon III period gilt pastille-work Louis XVI style mirror. The pediment surmounted by an out-sized knotted bow and laurel wreaths, the frame is decorated with stepped corners and with Classic 'running-ribbon' and string-of-pearl patterns. Retaining the original mirror plate. Paris, circa 1860.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age.
