An 18th century French Nevers majolica "Encrier" inkwell with the typical and whimsical stylised flower motifs of Nevers, with four holes for quills and a refill hole at the centre. Manufacture of Nevers, circa 1790. Expected in Melbourne in Oct 2020.
Condition report: In good and unrestored condition. Intact, some of the outer edges worn over time.
