A 19th century Portuguese 'Palissy' majolica plate featuring a haut relief bouquet of Summer flowers tied together with a blue ribbon, on a pale Siena coloured sand grain background. The rear is stamped with the maker's hallmarks for the 'Jose Alves Cunha' pottery in 'Caldas da Rainha'. Area of Greater Lisbon, circa 1890.
