A set of eight, early 19th century French blown and waterwheel hand-cut glass wine glasses from the Northern Normandy region of Pays de Caux, the bowls on simple baluster pedestals. Typically, the glass has the trapped bubbles and ‘wobbles’ of its handmade technique. The underside of the plinths show the pincer marks of the glassblower. Note the extra-wide plinths of these glasses. Area of Normandy, circa 1840. Price is for the set of eight.
