An early 19th century French Art Deco period solid oak chest of drawers, each of its three drawers panelled, and retaining their original brass handles and escutcheons. The rear stamped by the maker G. Soudon, a member of the "Chambre Syndicale de l'ameublement, Groupe des Ébénistes d'Art 11 Paris", a school and gild of cabinetmakers started in 1860 by Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
