A fine,19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style faded tulipwood Bureau Plat desk decorated with cross-banded and book-matched tulipwood patterns and with boxwood and ebony 'stringing' inlays, the top fitted with its original gilt-edged calf leather. Two extending slides, each fitted with the original leather open at each of the ends. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: In complete and very good condition, this desk has undergone conservation work in our workshop.
