An early 19th century French flame mahogany Restauration period fauteuil gondole armchair of very good proportions. Freshly covered in black calico. The design of this armchair is inspired by the Classical "Klismos" chair. Area of Paris, circa 1830.

Condition report: In excellent condition throughout, and of a comfortable height to sit at a desk.
