A large Italian majolica table decoration in the shape of a white-glazed platter with a raised foliate-motif pattern, filled with a pile of fruit including figs, pears, oranges, and apples. Area of Bassano, Northern Italy, circa 1930.

Please note: this type of pottery work is considered a virtuoso level of work, due to the difficulty of double-firing a clay object (once for the red clay, once for the glazes).
