A large Nautical French Mirror

A large, horizontally-hung vintage French mirror, the surface of the mirror plates etched with fine, nautical themed decorations, including caravel ships, fishermen's nets with fish and cardinal points. Please note the exceptional size and the high quality of the etchings, which were made at the rear of the glass panes, before they were silvered. Area of Paris, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original condition.
