A large, mixed media on board still life painting depicting glass vases and a conch, set into its original gilt frame. Signed at the top-right "Luigi Bartolini". Italy, circa 1930.

Luigi Bartolini (8 February 1892 – 16 May 1963) was an Italian painter, writer, and poet. He is known for his novel, "Ladri di Biciclette" (Bicycle Thieves), from which derived the 1948 Italian Neorealist film of the same name, directed by Vittorio De Sica.
