An early 19th century French Provincial Louis Philippe period solid pine 'Buffet Vitré' bookcase, the Classical pediment with typically generous ogee mouldings above a simple façade with two glazed doors above two drawers and two solid-panelled doors. Internally fitted with shelves. Please note the wonderful, faded colour of the pine timbers. Area of Normandy, circa 1830.
