A French carpenter's workbench made from nicely-worn and faded planks which have been worn by many generations of use. Standing on four massive legs supporting a lower shelf. Retaining its original wrought iron and timber vice. Please note: this workbench can also be used as an informal hall table, cellar table, or a console. Area of Normandy, circa 1900.

This item is due in Melbourne in late 2026.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing normal wear in keeping with its age and use.
