A large, French Louis XV style carved and gilt console table standing on four elegant Cabriole legs decorated with 'Rocaille' and stylised foliate motifs. Retaining its original, shaped and moulded-edge 'Breche' marble top. Made with fine workmanship, typical of the fine cabinetmaking workshops of the Parisian 'Faubourg Saint Antoine' district. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
