A French Directoire style  solid cherrywood three drawer, three door, 'Buffet d’Enfilade' sideboard, the doors decorated with solid timber panels and fitted with brass escutcheons and drawer-pulls. The cherrywood timbers are nicely-worn and retain a wonderful, luminous patina. This buffet is internally fitted with shelves. Area of Picardie, North West France, circa 1900.

This item is due in Melbourne in late 2026.

Condition report: Complete, in good and unrestored condition.
