A large vintage Swedish olive green glazed ceramic platter decorated with scalloped edges and with etched and painted spirals inspired by the Art Deco style, the rear signed "St. Leu" for Sylvia Leuchovius (1915-2003), a leading Swedish ceramist, and a prominent ceramicist at Rörstrand from 1949 to 1972. Sweden, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
