A pair of 19th century French Lois XV style cast and chased brass candlesticks, the baluster stems decorated with stylised foliate and Rocaille motifs, standing on shaped and moulded plinths, later electrified. Please note the nicely-worn and burnished brass finish. Fitted with antique French provincial, Louis XV style hand-patterned parchment lampshades. Area of Normandy, circa 1850.
Condition report: Complete and in fully restored condition. Fully re-wired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords with cord switches.
