An early 20th century French Louis XVI style faded mahogany gilt brass mounted 'Semainier' tallboy chest of seven drawers, of excellent Neoclassical proportions. Flanked by fluted pilasters, each of the drawers is decorated with gilt brass mouldings and is fitted with its original handles and escutcheons. Retaining its original, shaped and moulded Carrara marble top. Paris, circa 1950.
