A reconstituted stone garden statue depicting the famous 'Venus au Bain' statue, also known as 'La Bagneuse', commissioned to Christophe-Gabriel Allegrain in 1757 by the King of France, Louis XV. The original statue is currently on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Area of Isle de France, circa 1950.
Please note: this item is due in Melbourne in mid 2026.
Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition. The surfaces with lichens and some erosion from time spent outdoors.
