A long and elegant, French Louis XVI style sofa decorated with Neoclassical elements including four front and three rear, tapering and fluted legs, with paterae and with a moulded-edge, rectangular backrest. Please note the perfect Classical proportions and the masculine character of the design of this sofa. Retaining an old limed painted finish. Area Paris, circa 1950.
