A 19th century French Gothic Revival solid oak table, the thick top decorated with solid parquetry above two uprights finely carved and with Gothic motifs, including spiral-fluted and chip-carved columns and blind-fretted tracery patterns. A drawer with its original wrought iron pull is fitted at each of the table ends. The table can be disassembled by removing the securing pegs from the base and the original hand-made bolts on the top. Please note the luminosity of the oak timbers and the very fine quality of the carved decorations. Area of Greater Paris, circa 1880.
Condition report: In excellent and original, unrestored condition.
