An early 19th century French Empire period mahogany and gilt brass mounted library table, standing on four sabre-shaped legs and a platform plinth, decorated with gilt brass acanthus-leaf mounts and lions' paws feet. The top retaining the original 'Gris Saint Anne' marble insert. Area of Paris, circa 1810.
