A small, 18th century French provincial solid oak farmhouse table, the top made from two well-burnished planks retaining a rich oak colour, above square-section, chamfered square-section legs joined by an 'H' stretcher. A drawer with a lock and key is fitted to the front rail. The shallow depth of this table makes it an ideal console table. Area of Lower Normandy, circa 1780.
Please note: this item is due in Melbourne in mid 2026.
Condition report: In good, unrestored condition. Typically for its age, there is a shrinkage gap between the planks of the top. Please feel free to ask for a restoration quote from our workshop.
