A large pair of fine mid-19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XIV style, bronze 'chenet' table lamps, each decorated with as a Classical style baluster above a plinth decorated with a lion's head and clawed feet. The bronze surfaces retain a nicely worn and glowing finish. These chenets lamps have been sympathetically electrified as table lamps, using gold silk electrical cords, with cord-switches. The original chenets are from the area of Paris, circa 1870.
Please enquire if you'd like the French made lampshades which are currently displayed on these lamps.
These chenets have been hired for a film set from 18th May to 18th August. If you would like to purchase these, we can set them aside and send them to you when they return.
