A French faience 'Encrier' inkwell decorated with typically whimsical birds and with stylised flower motifs, with holes for quills and a refill holes. Manufacture of Salies-de-Béarn, South West France, circa 1930. 

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.

Dimensions: Diameter 13.5 cm, height 7 cm.

Status: Sold
