A vintage French faience 'jardiniere' herb planter decorated with hand painted foliate and bird motifs, the handles and the central medallions with 'mascheroni' heads. The underside with the hallmark of the Nevers potteries. Area of Nevers, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear and surface chipping from age and use.

Dimensions: 26 x 15 cm, height 12 cm.
