A large pair of mid 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style, finely cast and chased bronze chenets, now electrified and fitted with freshly handmade pleated lampshades. The bronze with a wonderfully worn and glowing finish. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: Complete and in fully restored condition. Rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.

Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holders 54 cm, overall height with shades 65 cm, width of plinths 25 cm, depth of plinths 20 cm, diameter of shades 42 cm.
