A very fine 19th century French bronze statuette, an allegory for a loving home, attributed to the French 'animalier' sculptor Jules Moigniez (1835-1894), depicting two nesting doves watching over a nest full of eggs. Standing on its original, shaped 'breche' marble plinth. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: Complete and in good and original, unrestored condition. Requiring cleaning with warm soapy water.
