A French provincial salt glazed stoneware 'jardiniere' herb planter vase decorated with haut-relief carved mythological figures and bas-relief etched floral and foliate motifs in blue tonalities, on a pale grey background. Please note the wonderful blue colour of the decorations. Area of Alsace, France circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
