A French glazed faience 'Passoire' bowl decorated with haut relief cherries and leaves designed to be used a sieve, to drain salads and fruit from liquids, and to be used as a serving bowl. The holes able to air the fruit and fend mold. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1900.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
