A 19th century French Louis XV style white ironstone soup tureen, the sacolled shaped body with foliate scroll handles, the lid surmounted by a knob in the shape of three leaves. The underside is stamped the hallmark of the Gien pottery. Please note: This tureen makes for a wonderful 'vide poches', a place where to empty out your pockets of keys, coins, mobile phone, etc. Area of the Loire, circa 1880.
Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
