A French provincial, Louis XV style solid oak four-drawer commode of very good proportions, decorated with haut-relief carved mouldings and seashell motifs, the timbers with a pale and soft-toned patinanation. Of very good quality, retaining the original handles and escutcheons. Area of Southern France, circa 1930.
