A tall French Maison Charles design table lamp decorated as a turned and gilt brass baluster incorporating a coconut, decorated with finely cast and gilt brass fronds. Please note the delightful use of a real coconut and the jewellery-like metalwork. Internally fitted with two lightbulbs. Area of Paris, circa 1960.
Condition report: In good and original condition. Freshly re-wired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords with a cord switch. The vintage pleated shade usable but with some stains on the fabric.
Dimensions: Height 73 cm, plinth 13 x 13 cm.
