A 19th century French Louis XVI style carved beechwood tabouret of fine quality, decorated with 'continuous-ribbon' mouldings and square paterae, the oval-ended seat fitted with finely woven cane, the tapering and fluted legs joined by a shaped 'H' stretcher. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
Condition report: In excellent and original, unrestored condition. The woven rattan is in excellent condition.
