A French Louis XVI style, carved and turned 'Gueridon' centre table decorated with Neoclassical motifs including paterae and continuous-ribbon mouldings. The circular top with a moulded edge, above tapering legs supporting a shelf. The original finish is nicely worn and faded. Area of Paris, circa 1900.
