A large, early 20th century French Art Nouveau period majolica ‘Jardiniere’ planter decorated with stylised flower patterns in relief, the colours and patterns of the glaze typical of the 'barbotine De Bruyn' majolica. The underside with the potter's hallmarks. Area of Fives Lille, Northern France, circa 1900.
Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
