An elegant French Louis XV style, solid cherrywood 'Bureau Plat' desk of fine quality, the shaped and moulded top and the two pull-out extension leaves fitted with leather. The carved front is fitted with four drawers, each decorated with shaped mouldings and retaining their original handles. This desk is well-presented on all four sides and can stand in the middle of a room. There is plenty of leg-room under the top. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
Condition report: In very good and original, unrestored condition.
