An early French Vigneron Table

An early 19th century French oval Vigneron wine-maker's solid oak and pine tilt-top table, the timbers well-burnished and patinated over time. Please note the 'V-shaped swivel mechanism that allows this tabletop to tilt. This type of table was designed to be easily transported and stowed away, and was primarily used for wine-tastings. Ample leg-room under the top. Area of Burgundy, circa 1840.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
