A French Demi Lune Table

A large and elegant 18th century French Directoire period, well-burnished demi-lune table, the top folding out to form a circular top table, the walnut timbers nicely faded and well burnished by time. This demilune table can be used permanently as a round table, or it can be used as a half-round console table. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1800.
Condition report: Complete, in good and unrestored condition, showing wear suitable for its age. Please note that, on request, our workshop can sympathetically raise the height of this table by a few centimetres.
