An early 18th century French Regence period solid walnut table, the nicely burnished top standing on four baluster-turned legs joined by a turned 'H' stretcher decorated with finials. A drawer with a turned timber knob opens in the front rail. Retaining the original bronze-like patina. Please note: this table was originally used as a desk/ writing table and shows the ink stains from its use as such. Area of Normandy, circa 1720. old ink stains
