A smaller-proportioned French silver plate set comprising a broad fish-serving knife and its typically-shaped fish-serving fork, each decorated with finely etched trellises of flowers. Please note the decorations of the handles which include cooing doves, knotted bows and other allegories for a happy marriage. Stamped on the undersides with the silversmith's hallmark. Area of Paris, circa 1950.
Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
